It's a dark street after Tamala and right before Kunta Kinteh's entry. It may not look good at first, but it's amazing. Better yet on Wednesdays and Sundays, when there's live music.

It's my favourite place to eat.Very nice food, and they look after you there.Everyone is so nice from Sunbeds guys to lady who do fruits and restaurant just nice.

Next to Tamala Beach Resort you will find this little gem! A family owned business with home cooked food! Try the local specialty like Beneiched or Yassa, but the BBQ nights on Wednesdays and Saturday’s are the best experience ever! Food is super and the dancing around the fire afterwards makes it an amazing evening always to remember!

I’ve lived there in The Gambia for a few months now and have eaten at every restaurant up and down the beach for kilometers on either side. Without a doubt, John Raymond’s has the best seafood. There is no better place. Not to mention it is local (not foreign) family owned and the people who work here are just wonderful people.
